CoconutGamers is an indie edtech game studio based in Kerala, India. We build educational and entertainment games for players of all ages. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information — especially from children under 13 — when you use our games and services at coconutgamers.fun.
// WHAT WE COLLECT
We collect only what's necessary to run and improve our games:
- In-game activity — levels played, scores, and learning progress
- Anonymised player IDs generated by Unity Analytics
- IP address and device identifiers (for analytics only)
- Device type, OS version, and region (aggregated)
We do not collect names, email addresses, or any directly identifiable information from children through our games.
// HOW WE USE IT
Information we collect is used to:
- Run and improve our games and Services
- Track in-session learning progress
- Fix bugs and handle support requests
- Conduct internal research using anonymised, aggregate data
We never sell, rent, or share children's personal information for advertising or commercial purposes.
// UNITY ANALYTICS
We use Unity Analytics to collect in-game data. Unity assigns each player an anonymised ID — this is not linked to any personal identity and is not used to track users across other apps or services.
Unity may also collect IP address and device identifiers to generate aggregated, regional usage reports. No personal information is included in these reports.
// PARENTAL RIGHTS
Parents and guardians may at any time:
- Request a copy of information collected about their child
- Request deletion of their child's data
- Refuse further collection or use of their child's information
// DATA SECURITY
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. We retain children's data only as long as needed, and analytics data is de-identified on a rolling basis. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we do our best.
// CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here at coconutgamers.fun/privacy-policy.html. If we make material changes affecting children's data, we'll highlight them prominently on our site.
